Are private prayer intentions actually private?
Yes. Private prayer intentions are encrypted on your device using AES-GCM with a key stored only in your iCloud Keychain or Android Keystore. The encrypted ciphertext is what we store on our servers; Vigil Faith staff, database administrators, and even our backups cannot read your private intentions. They are also never sent to any AI provider for translation or moderation.

What is Mass Streak?
Mass Streak is a personal devotional tracker. When you check in at a nearby Catholic church on Sunday (or at a Saturday vigil Mass), your streak grows. Streak counters are a personal aid only — they are not a sacramental record and do not substitute the canonical obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days.
